# Create AI Agent

AI agents in FabriXAI are designed to automate workflows and enhance specific use cases. You can configure your AI agent in two formats with FabriXAI, depending on your task's requirements:

  • Web App: Ideal for tasks requiring a standalone application accessible via a browser, such as form submissions or document generation.

  • Chatbot: Perfect for real-time conversational interactions, such as customer support or virtual assistants.

This guide will walk you through the steps and components necessary to create your customized AI agent on FabriXAI. Whether you choose to build your agent from scratch or select from a library of ready-to-use templates, FabriXAI makes the process simple and efficient:

# Create from Scratch

You can quickly create your customized AI agent with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Agents page.
  2. Click on the "Create" button.
  3. Select the "Create from scratch" card.
  4. Choose the Type of AI agent (Web App or Chatbot) and enter the necessary details, including Icon, Name and Description.

    Note: The Type, Icon and Name cannot be changed once created.

  5. Click "Create" to proceed.
  6. The Agent's configuration page will open, where you can configure its setup and modify advanced settings. For more details, refer to Configure AI Agent.
  7. Click "Save" to finalize the configuration.
  8. Click the "Open Icon ↗" on the top right corner to access the agent's app page.
  9. Your new agent is now ready to use!

# Step-by-Step Guide to Clone Agent Templates

Follow these steps to start using an Agent Template:

  1. Navigate to the Templates page to explore the available options.
  2. Hover over your desired Agent Template and click "Clone to Edit".
  3. The Agent’s info page will open, pre-filled with the agent’s Icon, Name, and Description. Review and adjust these details to create a customized version.
  4. Click "Create" to confirm the agent's information.
  5. The Agent's configuration page will open, where you can review its setup and modify advanced settings. For more details, refer to Configure AI Agent.
  6. Click "Save" to finalize the configuration.
  7. Click the "Open Icon ↗" on the top right corner to access the agent's app page.
  8. Your new agent, based on the selected template, is now ready to use!
